We Are What We Do's Action Tracker

A few things come as standard on our weekly Give a Little Love Tuesday blog; it comes out on a Tuesday, it's hilariously funny/entertaining and it always includes a weekly action from We Are What We Do's Action Tracker for you to follow to make the world a little brighter.

The aim of Action Tracker is two fold, first off it's a way to remind you of all the little things you can do that can make a big difference and secondly it's a way to record all those actions that you do so you can feel nice and smug about it, who doesn't like feeling smug?! We love it :)

Smug

So you can understand at our glumness that, after 7 years of doing it, We Are What We Do are hanging up their hats and retiring the Action Tracker website. We can't really hold it against them though, it's not like they are off for afternoons of golf and crumpets. They have decided to shift their approach to tackling major social and environmental issues, so instead of tracking the actions alone, they are creating products and services which help people do positive things and make it easier, more convenient and more desirable to do the actions they have before been tracking.

Historypin, a new We Are What We Do project

Some of their newer project include the very interesting Historypin, an online tool which allows people to come together around the history of their neighbourhoods and Box Chicken, a fast food outlet selling healthy fast food in urban deprived areas, designed to appeal to teenagers who are usually tempted into fried chicken shops, nom.

Box Chicken

The thing is we just can't give the actions up, those little tips help keep us on track and we reckon they do for a lot of you to. Sometimes you need a little reminder of small actions to can do to make a postive impact on the world and we don't want you to loose that so we have made a copy for all your action tracker fans so you can keep up the good work.
